I would like to give my students flexible seating options! Many 6th grade classes are at capacity this year, which means not everyone can be out of their seat at the same time. These cushions will fit in the student chairs and allow them to wiggle around as needed without being a distraction to others. They can enjoy movement in the classroom without physically being out of their seat. Why do we care if they are moving? Research studies have shown that a body in motion can retain and recall more efficiently and stay focused for longer periods of time. So let's get these students wobbling!
