My photography class is new to the district, and we have many excited students ready and eager to learn. I am currently trying to get all the equipment needed for this class and know that not every student has the privilege of being able to have a DSLR Camera to use. I know my students will truly benefit through hands on activities with the camera. My students will have the opportunity to not only learn the history of commercial/non-commercial photography; but also have hands on learning experiences that will help them gain knowledge of the proper usage of a camera, all while creating a portfolio of all photographs taken for future job searches. Not only is this a fun skill to know, but you never know when you will light a spark in a students heart and help them find there love for photography! I am super excited to start this new class.
