Students will want to read with these thrilling novels. These texts fit nicely with a scary story unit that will end in a theatrical field trip! These students will learn a love of books, followed by a love of theater. Many of these students have never see a classical play before and would enjoy the experience more with background knowledge of the performance before attending. This is just the beginning steps of forming a literature rich environment fir not only my classroom, but the entire school. Positive results of this project could impact thousands of students in the near future!
