I am a first grade teacher in an ICT classroom. ICT means integrative co-teaching model. I am a special education teacher, and my co-teacher is TESOL certified, teaching students who are English Language Learners. We have 21 children currently in our class. I am looking to receive 6 iPads for differentiated instruction. Our school believes in leadership, building independence amongst our students, and we use a center base approach for our instruction. We are looking to get iPads for our students to help with all of this. Children will learn to be responsible with taking care of the iPads as well as be given differentiated instruction that helps them with their learning. During centers they will learn to use the iPads for academic games to enforce and encourage learning/independence as well as being able to use the Ipads for differentiated instruction.
