Iur school is aiming to create a calming space for students to access during the school day. This space will provide children a location to calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others throughout the school day. In order to create the space, we need your help. We have created a list of items we are in need of for our mindfulness lab and have written a grant for these items through DonorsChoose.org. The items requested will provide a comforting space with different types of seating, including bean bag chairs and a futon. The yoga balls and trampoline will give students a way to release some energy. The sand, coloring books and fidget tools provide students with a way to distract their minds.
