As a first year teacher, I want to provide a rich print filled classroom! Reading is important in developing student's skills as readers and writers, but it also allows them to learn more about themselves and the people around them. Books can act as mirror into a student's own life, or a window into the lives of others. I have chosen books to inspire a life long love of reading and encourage empathy . With more books available in my classroom, students will grow into stronger readers and develop confident and curious minds! Today's READER is tomorrow's LEADER!
