The request for the digital monitor and stand will create a gateway to expand our current video conferencing through Skype and Google Hangout with various authors through out the world and increase our Microsoft in the Classroom virtual field trips. Through the virtual field trips and author visits I have seen our students world view expand as they understand how technology can enhance their learning and their lives by meeting people and going places they would never usually get the opportunity to do. This will prepare our students to become greater experts at being digital citizens for the global future.
