Technology is a global sphere the entire world has to embrace. The sooner students become familiar and comfortable with technology, such as the Amazon Fire tablet, the quicker they can learn new materials in the classroom. Young students love to manipulate and play as they are learning. What better way to make this to happen in a kindergarten classroom by setting up a tablet center. The center will focus on the four essential components of reading: fluency, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, and phonics. These four components are so tightly woven together, they all must be addressed at an early age for students to be successful throughout their school experience.
