Three hundred and eighty-nine middle school students will enter my classroom this school year excited to learn about Computer Technology. They are respectful and successful students who have a desire to learn about coding and anything technology related. Our Middle School educates 5th - 8th graders. We are not yet a one-to-one ratio school for students-to-computers, and this is part of the reason students are so excited about Computer Technology class. The technology skill level and knowledge that each student possesses truly varies, so this class allows my students to hone in on the skills they already possess and expand their knowledge of new technological skills. The students at this school have a passion and desire for computer skills and are always hungry to learn new things. Many students express their desires to go into career fields that require advanced computer skills.
