My students are ELLs and greatly struggle with vocabulary. Many have a difficult time comprehending words, and in some cases speaking fluent English. I would like for my students to have access to a dictionary resource that will require them to be inquisitive and further their English-speaking abilities while becoming lifelong learners. When you find your voice, and are given the resources to strenghten your voice, you become unstoppable and having a resource that allows them to inquire about words is incredibly beneficial in building their language fluency while also making them stronger and more proficient writers in my classroom and beyond.
