Playing recorder is something many students in elementary music class look forward to. Recorder helps to teach students to play a musical instrument and read music. My students love to play instruments and are really looking forward to playing the recorder! Playing the recorder will help to prepare students for future studies in music. While learning the recorder students will learn about rhythm, steady beat, intonation, fingering notes, reading music and many other important skills needed for further music studies. Recorder is a great way to meet music standards while providing students with an enjoyable way to learn about music.
