My classroom theme is Wild about Learning, and I am creating a Jungle reading nook for my pre-k students. The Jungle vine curtains will allow my students to feel like they are in the jungle but the sheer material allows me to still see and supervise my students. My goal is to create a library that will encourage and nurture a love for reading in all my students. By providing the large stuffed animals and pillows to lay or sit on, my students will stay and read for longer time periods. Years from now, I want my students to still remember their Jungle library nook and how much they enjoyed reading in it.
