Adding laptops to my classroom will allow more students to work on their instructional level and fill the gaps they have in their learning. We are currently limited to only 3 computers in our classroom and EVERYONE wants to be on one of those computers! Students in my classroom will be more engaged and motivated to learn when using laptops. We will be able to use online Math programs such as IXL.com, Khan Academy and Mobymax.com to help bridge the gaps in their learning to the 5th grade curriculum. Learning on the computer gives students the impression that learning is fun and they feel success.
