In our classroom, students are given a variety of opportunities that help them develop their skills and grow as learners. I strive to incorporate meaningful and engaging lessons that will keep them wanting more. Within our daily schedule, students are provided with small group activities that allow for social interaction and interventions that will help to enhance student learning in the already differentiated activities.
By creating a positive learning environment for children, we are helping them secure a positive, successful future. With the addition of flexible seating options, students will be able to better focus their attention on the topics at hand during small group activities and control their wiggly bodies. It is also during this time that groups are encouraged to use their imagination. Building blocks and magna tiles will provide them with unlimited possibilities and encourage peer socialization while putting their little imaginations to work. It is my goal as an educator to provide my students with the knowledge, support, and opportunities that will help them be successful.
