The IB scholars at my school need opportunities to demonstrate inquiry, communication, balance, principles, open-mindedness, caring, risk-taking and reflection. As an IB community we complete service as learning activities in order to have real-world authentic opportunities. During this particular project, our scholars will be working collaboratively with adult volunteers and staff members to improve our school community. The paint and fencing materials will be used during a beautification event that will inspire our neighbors to continue to improve our community while involving our scholars in service as learning. We will pick up trash, pull weeds and improve our landscape by repairing fencing and painting the outdoor buildings around our athletic fields.

About my class
