Since we live in border-town, we value different languages and cultures. Our school truly embraces multiculturalism and teaches our students the advantages of being bi or multilingual. We teach students to become bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish and even welcome students of other cultures (such as Yaqui and Asian) to share their traditions and language as well. The school's environment and community resembles a close-knit family. We are accepting and loving toward each other and children learn to be respectful of every individual and all living things. Our desert surroundings and historical references open up a wide vast of learning opportunities and help us learn the importance of being accepting and appreciative of each other.
