We all remember the first book that sparked our imagination and love of reading! I want my students to have that same experience this year! Expanding our classroom library with updated books and read alouds will allow them to find the one that intrigues them and makes them want to pick up book after book. My goal is to cultivate a lifelong love of reading in each of my students! Research shows that the amount of time spent reading is directly related to increases in cognitive and language development, problem solving, concentration and creativity! Please help me give my students the gift of loving literacy!
