This oversized classroom rug will allow my students to sit in various seating arrangements comfortably for collaborative learning! Kindergartners need many opportunities to get out of their seats and move around. My students need a clean, organized environment for listening to read-alouds, discovering with manipulatives, and having group discussions. They also need options for seating that allows them to move and "wobble" while doing their table work. Our classroom rug is our primary meeting area for various learning activities and experiences. It is essential that my students have this safe space to comfortably explore, independently read, create, learn, and play. I enjoy watching my students learn in a flexible seating environment, and they enjoy it even more!
