I chose calculators for a reason. The pandemic has put students at a disadvantage and they are behind in their learning. If I had the calculators in my classroom, it would speed up the process of learning basic math they need to be successful. These are the exact calculators they use on the state test. There would be some familiarity with it using it every day. I personally feel like it would take some of the pressure off them for the state test. Junior High math is more about the concept of what we are learning and not the basic functions. This would definitely benefit each student not matter what level they are at.
