I hope to remain up to date and current with the changing times. By that, I think that having a dynamic class library and read aloud section is important. More current literature for children pinpoints challenging issues that are in the present society. Such issues include unequal representation of women in STEM careers and culture-shaming or close-mindedness. In order to overcome these issues, it is pertinent to address them at an early age in children's lives. That is why books like ADA Twist Scientist and All Are Welcome would help prevent these issues from persisting with future generations and specifically with the young minds that I get to see every day.
