Flexible seating in the classroom has been provento drive students to be more successful. Many students do not like to sit in a plastic chair all day. It isn’t ideal and may also affect their education in a negative way. Flexible seating will give my students a variety of options to work comfortably and be successful. My students will be able to use the variety of seating options to work independently and in a manner that best works for them individually. I’ve seen personally how something simple as working on the floor can change how much effort a student gives because they feel more comfortable to work. I believe flexible seating will help those students who need to move around a little bit focus better.
