The requested hands-on science center materials will provide my students the opportunity to learn about the world around them within our classroom. Many of my students don't have the resources to do these types of activities at home. A hands-on science center which includes specimen sets and prepared slides kit, along with maginifier and bucket balance in our classroom will expand their learning and promote scientific inquiry. This center will contribute to student engagement and collaboration for my young 21st century learners. These activities will be a great addition to our STEM center and will enhance my students’ learning in many different ways. Introducing them to science through hands on exploration will compliment the many different lessons I teach.
