My students are highly-motivated high school seniors with a range of socioeconomic backgrounds and needs. They are in AP Literature and Composition for a variety of reasons. Some naturally love literature and writing, while others are taking the course because they want to be academically challenged. Our school is made up of approximately 1250 students in a predominantly working class town. Plymouth North High School is currently attempting to expand its offering of AP classes, in an effort to improve students' preparation for college.
