First Grade students require a variety of seating arrangements to enable them to maximize their learning potential. It is difficult for students to sit in uncomfortable chairs all day. By providing flexible seating, each and every one of these unique learners will have the opportunity to participate in our daily learning activities in a comfortable environment that suits them best. Listening to a story can be made more enjoyable while having a giant comfy pillow to lounge on. Students can have the opportunity to read a book with a partner while siting together on a soft couch. Working with a partner while playing a math game can be made even more fun and more comfortable while sitting on a soft floor seat that also has a back for the students to lean on. When the children have a little extra energy and have difficulty staying focused, they can have the comfort of a wobble cushion on their chair. Students can have fun learning and be comfortable at the same time!
