Having goggles will provide students with opportunities to participate in hands-on science while ensuring that students will be safe during the experiments. The digital scale will afford students a chance to accurately measure mass while they learn how to apply and use the metric system in an authentic setting. Currently, I am unable to perform many next generation science standard styled experiments that would prepare students for college and careers in science fields because of the safety concerns. I cannot apply hands-on scientific math in order for students to conceptualize how to calculate quantitative data such as is needed for most science careers.

About my class
