The materials needed for our Maker Space Room help our students to become competitive and ready with 21st-century skills. They also help the student stay engaged in the learning process as they are able to create something from scratch. The iPad will be used to create green screen videos on specific topics, such as a persuasive commercial in English and the clay and Play-Doh help students with stop-go motion or any other project they'd like to create. Students can also use the paint, brushes, and paper to create posters of countries will talk about in social studies. Students have loved using LEGOS to create scenes that portray a geographical element of a country we are talking about. All of this helps the student think outside the box, create something and problem solve.
