The ETA hand2mind kits contain materials that will help make learning fun and more hands-on for my students. My middle school students typically struggle to understand equations so The Equabeam Balance and Algebra Tiles will give them concrete, hands-on manipulatives to better understand the why and how of solving equations. The donations to this project will help my students understanding of equations, as well as, their overall engagement in math! My students love working with their hands so these manipulatives and STEM bins will be a great way to make them active participants in the classroom. These bins will provide students with meaningful learning opportunities that I hope will unleash their potential and help them find interest in future STEM careers.
