The flexible seating beanbags and chairs will change the way the students learn and interact with one another. My students will not have to feel confined to just their table, or to collaborate with just the people around them. With the new flexible seating, they can work in groups or even pairs. The flexible seating also provides more mobility and does not give the sense of "at my seat" work. I have found in the past flexible seating works well for students. They might sit by the window and write about what they see outside, or by the library and have instant access to a book for research.
