I have the best students in the great state of Texas (and possibly in all the world)! My students are incredibly creative. My boys love to read graphic novels and then work together to make their own. Their artistic ability, humor, and creativity amaze me each time. I tell them that I can't wait until they are famous authors and illustrators some day so that I can brag to everyone I know that I taught them! My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds. About half of my students were born in other countries or their parents were. Their families originate from Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe, and Asia, but the love of learning is universal for us all. My students enjoy listening to their classmates tell about their family traditions and culture, and we all learn so much from each other!
