My students often come to school on an empty stomach and are hungry throughout the day. This leads to students becoming disengaged and often getting headaches. Nutrition is essential to the development of a students mental and physical well being. It is imperative that we collaborate and help these young scholars be successful. The biggest reason why I chose to ask for healthy snacks is because I often have to provide these students with a treat to gain a boost of energy. By donating to our project, you will not only satiate the hunger of these children, but you will play a vital role in the physical and academic development of our students. Most of my students do not have the resources to bring snacks from home on a daily basis.I really love to see the smile on a kids faces when I give them a snack to keep them going through the day. We appreciate anything you can give to us.
