Being a new teacher, I haven't acquired many colorful learning materials. Having access to a color printer will enhance the learning in my inclusion classroom. When materials are printed in black and white, most of the important details are lost, interfering with the student's comprehension and learning. As a kindergarten teacher, I am one of the first influences on a child's vocabulary development. This vocabulary development is the foundation for many years of creative writing and expression. Having colorful visuals will aid in the comprehension process of these terms. Many of my students aren't exposed to various environments besides their home and school.
