An iPad and Apple Pencil will allow me to teach online while viewing my students' faces and annotating our shared computer screens. With zoom compatible apple products, the students can receive helpful feedback, share examples and visuals, all with the expectation of their participation and scholarly discussions. We have already adapted and learned so much this year, being held back by lack of technology is devastating. To make online lessons more productive, the class can watch helpful videos and we can highlight important information during reading and math instruction. For example, we are currently learning about algebraic equations. With compatible technology, the lesson would be much more informative with the ability to draw arrays, number lines, and highlighted text, which could be demonstrated on each students' computer screen for them to easily record in their notebooks. Updated technology will drastically improve lesson quality.
