These books and resources will get the students excited for learning and reading. The books will be read aloud by myself to the class, then put in their library center for them to explore. Reading is such an essential skill and I want to show my students how amazing books can be. The other resources will be used in centers and small group to help them grow as learners and enjoy learning. Centers are used multiple times a day to give students hands-on experience with their learning with math, reading, science, creation, technology, construction, writing, letters, and socializing with others. By donating to our project, you will help to increase their academic achievement. My class would benefit greatly from these resources. Specifically, the ink pads will be used with letter stamps for the students to practice using the letters and getting comfortable with the letters of the alphabet. The sensory sand will be used as a sensory center item and a construction center item for students to practice building and molding. The shape sorting items will be used in the math center for students to get comfortable with the shapes and using the shapes. The paper squares can be used with the glue I have in the room for students to construct and design pictures (a fun way besides using markers and crayons). The marble set and dough set will be used in the construction center for students to practice putting together items that can be used afterwards and help students molding and cutting into what they want to design. The addition of these items would help the students learn on a whole new level. The students and myself will be very grateful and excited to see their new materials.
