My students learn best when they are able to explore and experience hands-on learning. Education is changing every single day, and so is the interests of my students. Research has proven that students who are taught using hands-on teaching methods outperform those who are not. Hands-on learning drives authentic understanding and application versus memorization. My students are engaged most when they are able to explore and use manipulatives to solve problems. My classroom is in need of some engaging materials like dice, ten frames, and write and wipe pockets for writing and math. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. These activities will be used during whole group, small group, and individual instruction. Incorporating hands-on problem-solving exercises will all learners to ask for help from me and confer with peers to further develop problem-solving skills!
