My first graders have been academically affected by COVID-19. Many of them are struggling to read on grade level. They need access to decodable readers so they can be successful and feel confident in their ability to learn how to read! Through the science of reading research it has been proven that decodable books help children learn to read more effectively. These types of books will enable them to use resources that have been proven to help them succeed in learning how to read which is an essential skill that will help them succeed in their futures.

About my class
