Determined, curious, and willing to learn is how I describe my future leaders. Many of them are the first in their family to be educated in our academic elementary school system. Because of this, they are the bridge that connects their families' plight for better opportunities to their own journey of academic excellence and opportunities. They are curious. They ask questions. Most speak two or three different languages and many hardly ever miss school. They embody "e pluribus unum" and exemplify their unity in both the classroom as collaborators and with their families as loyal children. They make our community of learners stronger and they deserve better.

About my class
