Right now in my classroom, I have a set of cubbies that is not big enough for my whole class and a broken organizer for the remanned of the cubbies. My students and I use the cubbies daily in my classroom, especially at the end of the day. Using the cubbies not only helps me with organizing my students papers but it helps them learn responsibility. The cubbies allow me to see exactly who received papers and took them home that day. At the end of the day, I can easily see who’s parents I need to notify because they forgot their homework folder or who never took home the important packet. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student responsibility, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. By getting cubbies, the students can learn to become more responsible for their papers and other work that needs to go home.
