The books I am requesting will help to refresh the classroom library. Dog Days, The Box Car Children, and Harry Potter are high interest books. Amelia Bedilia is a beloved memory of my early reading years. My class has a wide range of reading ability, so the books selected are to help add to the levels of most need. We are taking on what is well known as a forty book challenge, which means each child will strive to read forty books within the year. These books will add to the variety of choices to motivate the students in reaching their goal which will build fluency and comprehension ability.
