Children in first grade have varying needs to keep their attention. Flexible seating will give them choices on how they can best focus to complete tasks at hand. I am excited to increase their stamina by allowing them to take ownership of what will help them during their independent work time. When students are comfortable they are more engaged and less likely to disrupt our learning environment. The wiggle stools will be especially beneficial to my students who need an opportunity to get their wiggles out without being disruptive to their peers around them. I am excited to offer them these options in our classroom!

About my class
