A colorful carpet in the art room will provide students a comfortable place to listen to stories, read a book or draw. It will be a nice place for my students to sit while we go over our learning target or reflect as a group on our art work. Carpet space is also a nice alternative place to sit when a student needs some quiet time to look at a book or work on a drawing. Currently the only seating in the art room is at tables. This carpet would provide a nice alternative place for us to gather as a class, small groups or individually.
