The use of manipulatives will help the students become more actively engaged in the classroom. The manipulatives allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. We have students who need various teaching styles. Some are kinesthetic learners. Therefore, they would require things that they can manipulate. I can also implement technology to use math games and other programs that are available to help my students. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student understanding of concept being taught, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
