My students are in need of leveled reading books in order to improve their fluency and comprehension and therefore begin having success in all their subjects. Reading is the basis for understanding the world through books. Reading second-grade level books can sometimes be challenging for low readers or disengaging for high readers which can make all of them shut down and lose interest in the material. With the help of leveled readers, my students will be able to practice at their individual levels and therefore find success. I expect their average reading scores ​to improve based on second grade standards.
