Many 8th grade students are not able to sit still and focus on a task. The balance balls will help those students to focus on an assignment, group activity or project. Some of these students need to get out some of their pent up energy (especially after lunch and being sitting in school all day) in order to have the opportunity to be successful in the classroom. Having seven of these will allow any student who wants and/or needs this to be able to use them by allowing for a rotation cycle for the entire class (if they should want to use them).
