Our district adopted a new curriculum for ELLs and intensive reading this year. This new curriculum requires technology that our schools were not ready to be able to support, due to funding and because of Covid. I am now struggling to teach our students with the new program, which requires teachers to have two laptops and students to utilize headsets with microphones. I teach from 25-34 students in each of my 8 periods, and we share the few working laptops in the classroom; however, I am unable to share and project parts of the lessons because I don't have an extra laptop. Students are also having problems listening and taping themselves for fluency, due to the fact that we don't have enough headsets to go around. This has caused me to have great delays in teaching the program correctly and efficiently.
