These materials will allow students to be in a tidy environment and give them everything they need to be successful in the class. The binders are for organization of all class handouts. In the binder, students will have 4 dividers: science start, notes/independent practice, homework, and data section. In the past, students keeping up with pencils has been very difficult and as the teacher, I'm always left to provide one. There is no time for excuses in the flow of my class! Having pencils available make things run more smoothly. Not having a pencil is typically the #1 excuse. The last period of the day we always clean off the desk ("ridding bad bacteria" as we call it) and tidying up for next day. Students work better in a clean environment.
