My students enjoy reading and spending time outdoors. I decided it was time to combine the two. My class usually spends time reading outdoors, but they have to do this while sitting on the ground. My class needs something that they can use not only to read outdoors but to also work on. We often use Chromebooks. I do not allow them to take these outside because they cannot be sat on the ground. If we were able to get some picnic tables, this would allow my students to use their technology outdoors. I think that having the picnic table would help my students because they would be able to combine some of the things that they love.
