In my STEM classes we focus on using the design process to help create amazing products that solve problems and can change the world around us. Having a 3D printer for our classroom will help bring these creations to life! It will allow students to go past the cardboard prototype they currently create and allow them to actually create the project they worked hard to design. Being able to have hands on experience using modern technology such as 3D printing will give my students the boost they need when entering the workforce after school or when working in an engineering lab in college.
