The Safco literature organizers, pencils, and easel pads will help my students to improve organization, and it will help them to track their progress in the course and provide materials for them to review. Part of increasing student motivation is showing students their journey of improving and mastering the content. Literature organizers will contain sample work, data folders, and their interactive notebooks. The easel pads will stay on display for students to review and improve their notes. Copy paper will help them to have mini anchor charts of information they need to keep in their notebook. By donating to our project you will help to improve student motivation and student achievement in a doubly state tested class, as they will be able to continuously show what they know and show how they're growing. Students will be able to focus on achieving their best because they are organized and know where to locate examples of their work along with notes (easel pad paper) and classwork from days they were absent. Additionally, students will have the resources to build a textbook they will be able to take with them to 8th Grade reading. They will be able to return to the Reading lessons in this 7th grade class to track their understanding and refresh their memory for the more difficult content they will face. By investing in this project, you are investing in their continued success for classes to come.
