A listening center would open up a whole new dimension to our reading program. The students will not only have their chapter books to read independently and in small groups, but they will be able to listen in a small group setting and then engage in discussions about the literature and it's format. A listening center will also add another element to the classroom to work on sight words and fluency, especially for auditory learners. Being able to different styles are learning available on a daily basis will give them another opportunity to grow, learn and retain important material in all four content areas!

About my class
