My First Graders love and need hands-on learning activities. The trays allow them to build with manipulatives, keep their recording journal and then carry this about the classroom to share with me, and other classmates. It also provides their own space, ensuring that their individual needs are being met. The trays are a learning surface to use manipulatives of their choice, meeting common core standards, and aids in contributing to a solid mathematical foundation. I can't wait to see the different ways in which my First Graders solve a variety of math problems, and then communicate their thinking ideas with our class. These trays, combined with manipulative use, will set the foundation for my First Graders to become 21st Century thinkers. Thank you for your consideration!
